World’s Coolest Cat Show – How to Copy a Badge for Blog Posting
Karen Nichols

A few cats have asked for help with how to copy the HTML that points to their contest entries so they can promote their entries on blogs and Catster profiles. Well, here’s how!

Beneath each entry, there’s a text field with selectable text – it’s circled in the screenshot below:

Click inside this field once. You’ll see that everything inside the box is highlighted. Now, right-click and select “Copy” from the popup menu (OR hit Ctrl-C [Apple-C for Macs] on your keyboard):

At this point, the contents of the box are copied to your clipboard, and you can now paste into your blog, your Catster page, or anywhere else you like.

Optional: I often paste the code snippet into a Notepad document. Because I sometimes cross-post to a blog as well as Catster pages, it saves me time when I inevitably copy something else to the clipboard, then have to go back and find the snippet again:

You can find the snippet on your contest page as well, which will display all of your entries:

Don’t know how to get to your contest page? Click the link that appears with the World’s Coolest Cat Show logo in the right column of your Catster profile page, just beneath your Kitty Complexion:

You’re far more likely to get more votes from your friends and family if you point them directly to your contest page… so they won’t have to wade through thousands of entries to find yours (even though it’s a lot of fun checking out all the entries!).

The contest clock is ticking down, so get out the vote!

Those are some very hepful instructions for copying a badge, but I got very distracted by Marina sitting in the skillet, and then….I saw Skeez’ Rheingold… and his superhero hair! OMC! That is so funny!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi. I repeatedly announce this forum. This is the oldest culture unqualified to ask a topic.
How multifarious in this forum are references progressive behind, artful users?
Can I bank all the advice that there is?
