Each day throughout the holiday season The Cat’s Meow is showcasing an adoptable cat seeking a home for the holidays.

Today’s featured cats are Ladybug and Bernardo, a pair of strongly bonded cuties hoping for a loving furever home.

Here’s Ladybug’s story:

This petite beauty with a cute turned up nose and a bit of curl to her hair is such a sweet girl. She is going to bring great joy to someone’s home. She is affectionate, playful and easy going. She gets a long well with everyone and in fact, she is so social that her nickname is Studio 54. Her very best friend is Bernardo. As soon as these two met they developed a very strong bond. So we would like to place them into a home together.

Both these kitties have clearly gone through a lot before we rescued them. We would really like to a least promise them that they do not have to lose each other. Please see Bernardo’s description and photos under his name. He is a very handsome and affectionate tuxedo. Here’s Bernardo’s story:

As soon as they met Bernardo and Ladybug became fast friends. While Ladybug is the first one to greet any stranger, Bernardo is shyer. He is certainly not a wall flower though and as soon as he warms up to you he is quite the charmer. He is not only very handsome but he is affectionate and such a love. Because of their close bond we want Bernardo and Ladybug to be placed into a home together. They both have already had a very tough life before we rescued them. Our hope then is that they do not need to lose each other in order to find a home. Please check out ladybug’s profile as well under her name. She is a Devon Rex mix. Here’s Samantha’s story:

I am still a young girl with many years ahead of me. I am friendly with humans but not a big fan of other four legged creatures. Here at Feline Friends I tolerate the other felines but I would be happiest with a person to call all my own. Maybe I just never learned how to share!?!? My fur is somewhat fluffy but no extra maintenance required. My tail is what most people notice about me. It is quite long and fluffy…I am a princess in every sense of the word!

I would be good with children 10+.
I would prefer to be the queen of the household, with no other cats.

Cosmo is a 10 year old cat who needs a new home. He’s a lap cat and loving to his owners. Likes a quiet relaxed atmosphere with daily playtime. Not shy but doesn’t like anyone petting him but people he trusts. Cosmo is staying with his family until we can find him a new home, so if you are interested in meeting him, please email us and we’ll coordinate a get-together. Today’s featured cat is Thelma, a sweet Tuxie in Pennsylvania who can be adopted with her littermate Louise for the price of one adoption when you adopt them at the same time. Can you give these two sweet girls a furever home?

Here’s Thelma’s story:

Thelma is a 6-month-old kitten. This sweetheart has been spayed, microchipped, received initial deworming and Frontline, is up to date on vaccinations, and has tested negative for feline FIV/FeLV. This beauty gets along with other cats and dogs. She is a litter mate to another black with white domestic short hair , Louise, and the foster mother is paying one of the adoption fees so that they can go together. All of our cats/kittens require a commercial cat carrier to transport them home.

Today’s featured cat is Jake, a blue-eyed Siamese Snowshoe mix who’s an extremely loving cat, left behind by an owner who moved to Taiwan. Jake’s in the Atlanta area.

Here’s Jake’s story:

JAKE – MALE – 10 YEARS OLD – BORN 11/25/1999

Jake is a great cat! He is loving, very much into being loved and touched. When you call his name he comes right to you. He is always happy to be next to you and enjoys attention. Jake loves to sleep with his human and is very devoted. He really is a great cat!

Jake’s owner has to move to Taiwan and has not been able to find a way to take his beloved cats with him. Jake is almost 10 years old, has been neutered and is declawed. He is in good health.

Meow and Hello, I’m Wiggy.

I hope you are paying attention to me, because that’s the way I like it! I think everyone’s eyes should be on me always! I am a total ham and love to have a good time. I came to Happily Ever After with my sister Sassy as our mom and dad said we were going outside the box, but we haven’t had any issues here. Sassy and I do love each other but don’t necessarily have to be adopted together because we do okay with out each other too. Sassy’s a cool girl, but she is a lot more shy than I am so if you are looking for a bubbly, “light up your life” kind of a gal, I would love to be yours!

Today’s featured cat is Miho, a formerly feral tuxie with a permanent milk mustache. He lives in Wells, Maine.

Miho has a sidekick named Sweetie, with whom he must be adopted. These two are strongly bonded and must be adopted together — but then, how could you adopt one and leave the other behind?

Here’s Miho’s’s story:

One look at Miho and you have to smile! What a face! This kitty is a clown and so dear and full of fun. He has this comical milk mustache and is forever at Sweetie’s side. He is Sweetie’s sidekick and guardian cat. They must be adopted together as they love one another very much. Miho and Sweetie both were feral cats and have been socialized by devoted Safe Haven volunteers and have come along wonderfully. We can now brush them and pet them and soon we hope to be holding them. It’s worth the wait. They have come so far and we are truly proud of “our kids”. We want a quiet loving home for these two with someone who respects ferals and the journey they go thru to become love bugs.
