In Dena’s own words: I am a cat fanatic. One of those loons who will end my days a widowed 90-year old found deceased in a rambling old home with 110 cats. I can’t wait.

My husband knows this and I think he sometimes fears I’m planning his early demise so I can set about the business of collecting more cats for our home. Nothing could be further from the truth. After all, someone has to be around to scoop all that kitty litter…

Catch Karen’s Tips This Week on The Daily Cat Tip
Janine Kahn

Hiya! Anders jumping in here again to say hallo and let you know that a woman who needs no introduction is about to get an introduction! That’s right, it is my honor and pleasure to let you know that our (and your) very own Karen Nichols is providing the tips this week over on the Daily Cat Tip! Yay! Here here! Yippee! Mazel Tov! Salut! Hip Hip Hooray!

That’s right–this week, Karen’s stepping in as a guest tipster on The Daily Cat Tip, the Catster blog that serves up a juicy tidbit of feline information every weekday. We’re proud and honored to have Karen as such a dear and important part of our Catster family, AND SUPER EXCITED that she took a break from her busy blogging schedule to dish up some pawsome tips for the cat lovers in all of us. We can’t wait to see what she’s got in store for us this week! Her first tip about feline hair loss is live already, you can check it out here.

In case you live under a rock or just haven’t read this page yet, here’s a little more about Karen:

Karen Nichols would probably still be held captive by St Agnes Hospital in Fresno, California were it not for a litter of Dachshunds, the proceeds from the sale of which paid the hospital bill when Karen was born. She’s been indebted to animals ever since. Her first cat, Freda, a blind Siamese, slept on her chest every night from the time she left the crib, forging a lifelong bond with cats, especially Siamese.

Karen also writes the Pet Coupon Deals Blog and contributes to Catster’s Daily Cat Tip Blog.
