Pair of Senior Cat Brothers Need Furever Home in SoCal
Karen Nichols

virginiascats1_2.jpg

In Southern California, an elderly woman passed away recently, leaving behind a pair of senior cats (they are between 13 and 15 years old) who don’t understand why their lady isn’t there anymore. catsneedhome1_2.jpgThe two cats are brothers, have never been separated, and are reported to be very sweet. The deceased woman had no friends or relatives to take them when she died, so they now face a bleak, uncertain future.

The manager of the apartment building where they live worked hard to find foster homes to house the two brothers until a permanent home can be found. Can you or someone you know provide them with a furever home? They need to be adopted together.

If you can help, please contact the apartment manager, Joanne: ph 818-784-0494; email: diamondlady AT adelphia DOT net.

Joanne manages a building that welcomes cats. The building’s owner owns 14 apartment houses in the San Ferndando Valley and Los Angeles, all of which welcome cats. If you or someone you know needs cat-friendly housing in LA, give Joanne a call.

Thank goodness this Joanne who is the manager of the apartment complex has a heart of gold and as for now found a foster home, bless you and please keep us updated as to their situation.

Call Mercy’s Mom – she will take them! Or call Skeezix’s Mom – she will take them! Or call Rocky Ann’s Mom – she will take them! Those are the friends I know in California. I sure hope they find a forever home. We know how hard it is to find homes for the older furts.

Calvin–Karen is Skeezix’s Mom! HE HE! But I am sure she is quite pleased that you think she is so kind. I wish we could take them but we are so far away and I doubt they want to move to the rains of Washington. Have they checked with Best Friends?

Cheysuli – I know that Karen is Skeezix’s Mom! MOL! Also, Smudge and Sissel live in California, but I think they live in Northern California.

Morgan and Calvin, thanks for your vote of confidence! MOL Morgan, mom is home for lunch and will look for your mom’s ping when she gets back to the office. Skeezix and I are actually in Northern California. I wonder if our new animal shelter could take them? It’s sponsored by Humane Society Silicon Valley.

Sorry, I was in a hurry earlier, but Mom really does not have any connections in Southern Cal. And, we know the ideal situation is for these two to find a home together. Elisabeth Jordan Jones is also in Southern Cal so I will see if she can help.

Hey everyone! This story is so sad! We do live in the San Fernando valley. While our house is at maximum capacity right now, we will definitely make some calls and send this story out to some of our cat lovin’ friends. We’ll call our vet, too, to see if they have any ideas or know of anyone who’s interested in adopting to senior cuties!

Dear Skeezix’s Mommy or Joanne the Apartment Manager Lady:

Poor leetle kitties, they look so unhappy! As soon as we all read that the poor kitties were so confused about where their furrever mommy went we knew we had to help. We live near cold old Chicago and we would take them in a heartbeat, poor darlings. What could we do? So we want to offer to pay for time for them to talk with our favorite animal communicator who lives in CA, Marta Williams. Marta will help to reassure them that they are safe and their furrever mommy did not desert them and that it is not their fault and they will never be abandoned. She can also help determine who they may want to live with, what they are afraid of, what they like to eat, play with, etc. Everything. Please contact us at Catster at Billi Bi Humphrey’s page. Please contact me, Skeezix’s mommy, so we can discuss this.

Love and kisses, Billi Bi’s mommy

Mom said if we weren’t over capacity now, or if we had a bigger place, she would take them in a heartbeat. She will also check around and see if she can find someone.

Praying for these two very handsome and devoted sweeties. Van Nuys is my original hometown, and I pray there’s some good person over there whose life will be made so much better when these two cuties join them!

Hi, Catsters! We zipped an email to Joanne to see if we can help from Illinois. It’s a long way to California but hopefully Marta Williams can talk to the little old ones. Aren’t they just gorgeous? Boy, I’d take ‘em in a minute but, oh, how would they ever get here with their BRAINS intact!? It would be such a long and scary ride. But, then again, my cousin Mary the Horsewoman (I got the Sports Car genes) flies for USAir out of LAX and I live~~oh~~20 miles from good old ORD. So, . . .

Purrring hard for the kitties. Older kitties ROCK and they deserve a good home (or a nice foster home until then).
    Please keep us updated!!!!!!!!
