Monday Movie: The Competition
Karen Nichols

I’ve gone nuts over the concept of cat agility competitions, in which the Bengal above is engaged. So much so, that I recently purchased a dog agility course kit … for the cats. Well, one of the cats: Tripper, the pushin’-20-lbs hunka love who enthusiastically does everything at 100 mph (when he’s not dead asleep on the kitchen table). He’s pretty smart, and very eager to please me, so I think he might be trainable. We’ll keep you posted on how it goes. And if anybody out there has cat agility training tips they’d like to share, please let me know!

We got tired just watching that movie! What energy. Bosco can’t run like that anymore since he has that darn asthma. Running usually triggers an attack!! Bosco.

Very cute, but watching it made me tired, too. Is there a “napping agility” competition? That would be my speed. Good luck, Tripper!

(psst! If RayPod stops by with training tips, uh, I don’t think I would take his advice. First ask what HE did in competition.)

Don’t listen to anything Scooter says! I was awesome. Just ask my Mom.

Now that is something I can’t wait to see!!! I think I might like something like that but I’d much rather see Tripper do it.

    Can Tripper really move fast?

That is way cool! I think I could do it, and I’ll bet if it involved a treat at the end, Calvin might do it in slow motion!

We can not wait to see Tripper running an obstacle course!

Holy cat! Tailer’s been chasing his Whirly-Bird every day, but he’s not quite that good yet!

What? You think Tripper needs to lose some of his handsome furchin?!

I can see Ollie doing that. She does it every morning. I’d just need to hold the camera out in front of her.

I would LOVE to see Tripper do that.
