Help Your Favorite Shelter Win a $1300 Facelift!
Karen Nichols

During Petfinder’s Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month, you can help your local shelter win over $1300 worth of litter boxes and cat towers! Here’s the scoop:

Petfinder.com and The Refined Feline team up to donate designer cat furniture to a needy shelter.

Does the cat room in your local pet shelter need a face lift? They could win over $1300 worth of cat litter boxes and cat towers by entering a makeover contest during Petfinder.com’s Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month.

After a successful makeover of the Animal Haven Shelter in New York City we were excited to offer this opportunity nationwide. Petfinder.com has an extensive network of shelters and we are happy to help a shelter in need.
The contest is sponsored by Petfinder.com, a database of adoptable pets and a directory of over 10,000 shelters and adoption organizations, and The Refined Feline, a leading cat furniture manufacturer. Once The Refined Feline had had a taste of helping a local shelter, they couldn’t help but connect with Petfinder to take the idea a step farther.

“After a successful makeover of the Animal Haven Shelter in New York City,” Josh Feinkind, owner of The Refined Feline, said, “we were excited to offer this opportunity nationwide. Petfinder.com has an extensive network of shelters and we are happy to help a shelter in need.”

How can your local cat shelter benefit from this opportunity? First, they need to be a Petfinder member. Second, they need a current photo of their cat room, their group name and shelter ID, and the reason why their cat room needs a makeover in 200 words or less. All entries should be subited to Petfinder.com by 11:59 p.m. EST, June 30.

One lucky pet shelter will see their outdated cat room transformed into a cozy haven for the hopeful adoptees.
