This upcoming weekend (November 21-23, 2008) is the Cat Fancier’s Association International Cat Show, held this year in CATlanta, Georgia.

The show will take place at the Georgia International Convention Center (2000 Convention Center Concourse, College Park, GA 30337). The Georgia International Convention Center is adjacent to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, at the juncture of Interstate Highways 75 and 85.

The show is open to the public and in addition to the usual breed competitions, will feature a Feline Agility competition (my purrsonal fave). Here’s the schedule:

Not only will we be there – we will actually be showing two cats in the show!!

Hope everyone that can come, will make sure to do so. Its sure to be loads of fun!

Look us up under the “American Shorthair” section. All cats will be (grouped) benched by breed.

Does anyone have any idea what rescue group was at the Cat Show this past weekend? We saw a cat we would love to adopt but didn’t make a decision at the time as we have three other cats right now. We failed to get the name of the group. Any info would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
