I couldn't give a damn how "nutritious" this meat may be, it is NOT acceptable! It also says a lot about the nature of the people who are a part of this savagery! It is not civilised and will not be tolerated in the 21st Century. China is a pariah state in many of our eyes and I for one will continue boycotting ALL chinese goods! No animal deserves to be treated in such an appalling, brutal manner, whether it be a dog, cat, chicken, pig, cow, goat or any other living creature!!! Also, if you are in a store and see a product from China with fur, calmly but firmly tell the store owner and/or manager that, not only can you not support a store that sells fur, that a product with fur from China is probably cat or dog. This is not prejudice, it is a fact. No matter what the fur is labeled as, there are no laws to prevent these cat and dog fur products from coming into the country. I am living exactly in this city, Guangzhou, southern China, where thousands of cats are stolen from all around the country, shipped by trucks here, and killed for food and fur in an extremely cruel way. When I think of this I really feel very depressed, like many other animals lovers in China. R. Jackson, I am sorry for our critical comment, but may I tell you more about the fact? These cats being killed are not farming stocks, but most of them are stolen from their owners and families. I know what you meant, being a vegan, however if people do not even care about cats, which is the most familiar and closed to people, how do we expect them to respect other animals? In China, many people are trying to stop this criminals. However they can only fight aginst the cruelty on their own feet, due to the lack of law of animals welfare. So please if you can do not support this cruelty. Think about it before you buy a ticket to travel here in Guangzhou, China. I also suggest to bacotte Chinese products not only furs. Wite to the big companies which exporting products from China, that you do not want their products because they comes from a barbaric country eating cats! However- that is not the case in many countries. In many places they are viewed the same way those of us that eat meat view a cow or a chicken- they're viewed as food.
