Mom got a hamster. A month later Dad told her she needed a cat, Dad had never been allowed a pet at his house. He took Mom to the shelter and helped her pick out a kitten. Nikki spent 13 years with Mom & Dad, she went to the wedding reception, helped them buy their first house, and cheered them up when anything went wrong. Thanks to Nikki my parents became Cat Lovers, or more like animal lovers. The current population at our house is 5 cats, 2 satos, 3 prairie dogs, 4 guinea pigs and 2 rats.
