The Daily Cat Tips

If you have a cat tree, window perch, scratching post, shelves, or anything else your kitty can climb, perch on, jump from, or walk across, routinely check its safety and stability. Even securely installed and attached items can loosen with time. Hanging climbers that attach with suction cups to a window can have compromised seals. Even if your cat doesn’t get hurt, such a mishap can make it afraid of that particular piece of furniture. It would be a shame for your cat to avoid the cat tree because of one loose perch that could’ve been tightened in seconds. Cat furniture pieces you set up when your kitty was a small six-pounder may need some extra reinforcement if kitty is now 12 pounds.

Also i’ve noticed alot of cat condos/ multi-level-scratchers that have fabric aren’t secured very will, or the edges fray off and that leaves little pieces of carpet that your cat can eat.
