Kittens do not need food that’s too different from what adult cats consume, but they do need more protein-rich food and they need to eat more frequently.

So here we have one disappointed person, and one delighted person. Guess you cannot please everyone all the time! But the truth is that something got dropped from this tip, since my intention was to tell you to avoid any dry food at all costs and feed your kitten four meals of wet food a day – as much as the kitty will eat in a 15 minute period. A the kitten gets older, you can drop down to three meals a day; by 6 to 8 months, a twice a day feeding schedule should work.
