Making homemade dog treats can be easy – flour, beef broth, an egg. But cats can be so finicky, that they’re bound to turn up their noses at something quite common. So, what can you make to tempt them? You might try a catnip treat. Or try these tidbits
made with dried fish flakes), though most of us don’t keep those on hand. If your cat has a sweet tooth, try something made with molasses! |

Thank you so much for the recipes. I’ve been looking for a long time for some treats for Greyson that are healthy for him. I’ll be making all of these this weekend for sure!
I can’t seem to get the recipe for the catnip treats to open. Is anyone else having trouble with this one? If anyone was able to open it, would you please post it for me here? Thanks.
Thanks for the recipes for tasty treats; hey, MOoooooom!
We have six cats and a limited income, so our cats eat nurticious, but not the most expensive cat food.
small bags of cat treats go fast and are costly. We will buy one bag of the more expensive brand regular food
(such as IAMS) Costly but a better buy than treats,
Our cats gobble them up ! easier than cooking and very nutricious.
henry j: That’s a good idea! Maybe if you even buy another cheaper food but in a different flavor than their regular food, it would seem like a treat. My cat inadvertently saves me money – he will only eat the cheap food.
