Diminished grooming is usually a sign of ill health in a cat – if it’s accompanied by lethargy and/or lack of appetite you should take your kitty in for a check up with the vet right away. |

Oh, how I wish I had known this when I rescued my beloved Zorro 3 years ago. I might have paid more attention to some other questions and doubts I had about his health. He would get sick every now and then from a variety of unusual and unrelated? illnesses, but he always perked back up after a vet visit and meds. He passed away suddenly last weekend from respiratory arrest while still on antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection.
ZORRO FOREVER!

Oh my goodness Mary – I am so terribly sorry for your loss. You had just written about his eye infection/upper respiratory infection. This is terrible in such a young kitty, you must be devastated. This is terrible. I would really like to memorialize Zorro on my CAT CHAT photo gallery. Can you send me a photo, please, to DogandCatBibles@gmail.com
