When debating what to name your cat, remember that felines respond best to names ending in the “ee” sound. To get kitty to come when called (yes, it can happen) always use her full name and reward her with a treat when she responds to her name.

That’s interesting! Most of the cats I have named myself (some of the rescues I kept their original names) end in an ee sound – Alfie, Albie, Blackie, Snowy, Minky, Lucy, Gwinny, Rosie and I do find they respond quicker to their names than the ones called Jack and Justin when I call them.
