It takes three months for a young cat’s sleeping pattern to establish itself – and a newborn kitten will sleep pretty much day and night during that period. This sleep pattern probably evolved as a safety mechanism for survival, since a little defenseless kitten was better off asleep in the den than out roaming around. |
