  When feeding your cat canned food, think of it being the equivalent of the temperature a cat would encounter in a bird or rodent he or she hunted. Cold food, directly from the fridge, is a turn-off to many cats.

    I give my cats half a can of wet food every day. The cold doesnt bother my girl cat,but the boy will wait to eat his till its room temp!

    Hi Diane – Isn’t it funny what individuals our kitties are?! As for the 1/2 can daily, I hope you mean 1/2 can for each of them at 2 meals – that is about the right amount of food for your average cat. And I am doubly hoping you are not feeding any dry food since cats are obligate carnivores designed to digest only meat.
